WHAT TO BRING
All clothing and gear is available at our base camps.
SPRING & FALL RAFTING (Hudson, Moose, & Black Rivers)
We recommend each person bring the following for cold weather rafting. Adjust these recommendations to your personal needs. If you tend to be cold, bring more warm clothing. We'll start from the bottom up.
- Fleece or wool socks - we provide neoprene booties, but you'll need thin wool socks underneath. No cotton socks.
- Thermal underwear - (polypropylene, thermax, or acrylic - NOT COTTON) During April and May fleece tops work well.
- Windbreaker or splash top - this will be your first line of defense against the water.
* Fleece or wool hat - must be able to fit under your helmet. Skull caps work the best.
- Neoprene gloves - Can be rented at Hudson River Rafting..
